At the age of 85, Tony Curtis has left us. Known mostly for being Janet Leigh's husband and Jamie Lee Curtis' father, but Curtis' acting career was on of distinction as well. Sure, he was not the talent of a Robert Mitchum or Marlon Brando. His performances in The Defiant Ones, Spartacus and Sweet Smell of Success were not the central roles, but they added much more to those successful films with great wit and his incessant need to never play it safe. There were many actors who were better then Curtis, but few as unique. Known mostly for his performance in the Billy Wilder hit Some Like It Hot, here's my favorite clip of him from that film...
